If we want to see more happy and healthy marriages, we need to know what makes couples happy, and marital happiness is a good measure of that. In contrast to Emotional Intelligence, which entails seeing, understanding, and successfully managing emotions, SI includes qualities like self-awareness, transcendence, and connection. This research uses a mixed-methods approach to look at how variables, communications dynamics, & marital conflict resolution are related. More positive communication styles and methods for resolving conflicts are linked to higher both variables, which in turn leads to better marital satisfaction, according to the findings. In order to cultivate healthy marriage outcomes, it is essential to possess certain components of both variables, such as comprehension, empathy, and emotional control. It is important to note that culturally sensitive treatments are necessary since cultural and contextual variables impact the link between two variables, & marital satisfaction. These findings provide practical suggestions for improving marital relationships and add to our knowledge of the processes driving marital dynamics.
Mansha Mahani, Dr. Shivani Bhambri Copyright (c) 2024 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2757 Mon, 22 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Effectiveness Of Structred Teaching Program On The Knowledge And Practice Regarding Hand Hygiene Among Student Nurses https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2737
Hand Hygiene is cost-effective method in preventing infection transmission. An experimental study with one group pretest posttest design was undertaken at a tertiary care hospital in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Consecutive sampling technique was used to select the study subjects. Data was collected from 88 student’s nurses by using structured knowledge questionnaires and practice checklist. A knowledge questionnaire based on hand hygiene practices and also based on World health Organization’s concept of “Five Moments for Hand Hygiene” was used to evaluate the practices regarding hand hygiene.

Result: The overall posttest mean knowledge score was 13.05 ± 2.82 which was higher than the pretest mean knowledge score 9.94±2.38 and the post mean score of practice regarding hand hygiene with soap and water was 17.11 ± 2.87, with hand rub or sanitizer was 9.57 ± 3.46 and practice with the steps of five moments of hand hygiene 3.52 ± 0.57 was higher than the pretest mean score of practice regarding hand hygiene with soap and water was 13.57 ± 3.3 & with hand rub or sanitizer was 2.24 ± 3.98 and practice with the steps of five moments of hand hygiene was 2.06 ± 1.

Conclusion: the study concluded that the post-test level of knowledge and practice was increased after the structured teaching program, hence it can be inferred that a structured teaching program was an effective method to enhance the knowledge and practice of hand hygiene.
Isha Sharma, Anita Rawat, Ankita Rawat, Bina Kumari, Swati Aswal, Dr. Kanchan Bala, Mr. Jayant Abhishek Gideon Copyright (c) 2024 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2737 Mon, 15 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 “Efficacy of patients’ safety guidelines during patient’s transportation among ward attendants in terms of knowledge and practice” https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2723
Patient’s safety means avoiding mistakes, complications, and prevention of harmful effects.1 it is mandatory for hospital to ensure patient’s safety during the hospitalization of patient. Patients who are admitted in intensive care unit are at risk of any hazardous event especially during transportation of patient.2

Methodology: Quasi experimental study with two group pre- test post-test design was adopted to assess the effectiveness of patients’ safety guidelines in terms of knowledge and practice among ward attendants. Total eighty-seven ward attendants were selected by simple random sampling technique from a tertiary care hospital of Dehradun further divide into experimental and control group. Data was collected by self-structured knowledge questionnaire and observation practice checklist.

Result: The overall mean post-test knowledge score of experimental groups (24.02±2.873) was higher than the post-test mean score of the control group (19.95±3.408). Mean difference was 4.07 which was significant (t=3.49) at p<0.05. The post-test level of practice in experimental group (28.80±1.812) was higher than the post-test mean score of the control group (21.01±1.806), mean difference was 7.79 which was significant (t=3.49) at p<0.05. Conclusion: This study concluded that after intervention significant improvement in knowledge and practice of ward attendants in experimental group has been noted.

Ms. Rajni, Dr. Vandana Chauhan, Dr. Harleen Kaur Copyright (c) 2024 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2723 Fri, 12 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 From Breakage to Brilliance, The Power of Fragment Reattachment- A case report https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2712
Coronal fracture of the anterior teeth is mainly common among children and adolescents. Though diverse treatment modalities are available, tooth fragment reattachment is generally considered a viable treatment option due to simplicity, natural aesthetics, and functional success. This case report highlights in detail the fragment reattachment procedure of a fracture central incisor in a 11 year old patient.

Fragment reattachment was found to be a functional and aesthetically acceptable treatment option in restoring the integrity of fractured permanent incisors irrespective of the time elapsed. Reattachment provides rapid outcome thereby, imparting an overall sense of optimism and confidence. It is relatively inexpensive compared to other comprehensive treatment procedures. The procedure is very simple, requiring less chair-side time.
Dr.C.Chrishantha Joybell Copyright (c) 2024 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities https://jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/2712 Wed, 17 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000
