Distribution of the Severity of Osteoporosis by Bone Molecular Density among Age Groups of Patients after Dual-Energy Absorptiometry in 2017-2022 in the Belgorod Region

Abstract
This article is a study of the prevalence and severity of osteoporosis diagnosed using dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry. The study period is 6 years, involving patients aged 18-74 years, living in the Belgorod region and having lesions in the lumbar spine and/or hip joints. The data obtained do not contradict the global trends in the prevalence of osteoporosis. In addition, men of the younger age group and women of the older age group were more prone to osteopenia.
