Abstract

Aim: To evaluate the influence of various parameters on the formulation of Ritonavir     Nano suspension.


Objectives: The preparation of Nano suspension, which could enhance bioavailability, this was the main focus of the investigation.


Methods: In order to prepare Ritonavir Nano suspension- Concentration, solvent and stabilizer were considered as main criteria.


Results: The generated nanosuspensions were optimized based upon particle size and zeta potential.


Conclusion: In the current study, nanonization has been investigated to improve the solubility and dissolution of BCS Class IV drug Ritonavir. The anti-solvent precipitation technique was used for the preparation of nanosuspensions and the effects of various formulation parameters were studied.
